I treated myself to a simple dinner after work and just sat there thinking, wow, I really made it through the first month 🙂 There is nobody from my country in my office, so at first I thought I might feel a bit out of place, but actually it pushed me to talk more with everyone and listen carefully. Small things like coworkers explaining lunch menus or checking if I got home okay made this month feel warmer than I imagined. Just wanted to share a small happy update for anyone starting a new job here. Take it one day at a time, you’re doing better than you think.

Kecha Koreyada birinchi maoshimni oldim va bu men kutganimdan ham ko‘proq hissiyotli bo‘ldi. Ishdan keyin o‘zimga oddiy bir kechki ovqat oldim-da, shunchaki o‘tirib, “voy, men haqiqatan ham birinchi oyni bosib o‘tdim-ku 🙂” deb o‘yladim. Mening ofisimda o‘z yurtimdan hech kim yo‘q, shuning uchun avvaliga biroz noqulay his qilarman deb o‘ylagandim, lekin aslida bu meni hammalar bilan ko‘proq gaplashishga va diqqat bilan tinglashga undadi. Hamkasblarning tushlik menyusini tushuntirib berishi yoki uyga xavfsiz yetib borganimni so‘rashi kabi kichik narsalar bu oyimni tasavvur qilganimdan ham iliqroq qildi. Bu yerda yangi ish boshlayotganlar uchun kichik, xushxabarni bo‘lishgim keldi. Bir kunni bir kun deb oling, siz o‘ylagandan ham yaxshiroq ish qilyapsiz.
