My parents and younger sister visited Korea last week, so I brought them to my campus for half a day instead of only doing tourist spots. Just sharing in case anyone has family coming: at my school, the student office said visitors can usually enter most outdoor campus areas, and the library lobby was okay as long as we were quiet and respectful. The cafeteria was actually a nice stop too, because they could see my normal student life and not just the pretty parts of Seoul 🙂 It felt simple, but my family said seeing where I study made them understand my life here much better.

Ota-onam va singlim o‘tgan hafta Koreyaga tashrif buyurishdi, shuning uchun ularni faqat sayyohlik joylariga olib borish o‘rniga yarim kunga kampusimga olib bordim. Agar kimningdir oila a’zolari kelayotgan bo‘lsa, foydasi tegishi uchun ulashyapman: mening maktabimda talabalar bo‘limi odatda mehmonlar kampusning aksariyat tashqi hududlariga kirishi mumkinligini aytdi, va biz jim hamda hurmatli bo‘lsak, kutubxona lobbi ham mumkin edi. Oshxona ham aslida yaxshi to‘xtash joyi bo‘ldi, chunki ular mening oddiy talabalik hayotimni ko‘ra olishdi, faqat Seulning chiroyli tomonlarini emas 🙂 Bu oddiy tuyuldi, lekin oilam men qayerda o‘qishimni ko‘rish ular uchun bu yerdagi hayotimni ancha yaxshiroq tushunishga yordam berganini aytishdi.
