Today I finished my stay extension visit, and it felt weirdly peaceful afterward 🙂 I didn’t tell my family before going because any visa-related topic makes them worry too much, even when it is just normal paperwork. I just made a simple order for myself: check the appointment, collect the company papers, put everything in one folder, and take a quiet half-day from work. Nothing dramatic happened, but I wanted to share because sometimes the small adult-life things in Korea feel big when you handle them alone.

วันนี้ฉันทำเรื่องต่ออายุการพำนักเสร็จแล้ว และหลังจากนั้นก็รู้สึกสงบอย่างประหลาด 🙂 ฉันไม่ได้บอกครอบครัวก่อนออกไป เพราะไม่ว่าพูดเรื่องวีซ่าเมื่อไรพวกเขาก็มักกังวลมากเกินไป แม้จะเป็นแค่เอกสารธรรมดาก็ตาม ฉันแค่จัดการเรื่องง่ายๆ ให้ตัวเอง: เช็กนัดหมาย รวบรวมเอกสารของบริษัท ใส่ทุกอย่างไว้ในแฟ้มเดียว และลางานครึ่งวันแบบเงียบๆ ไม่มีอะไรดราม่าเกิดขึ้น แต่ฉันอยากแบ่งปัน เพราะบางครั้งเรื่องเล็กๆ ในชีวิตผู้ใหญ่ในเกาหลีก็รู้สึกยิ่งใหญ่ เมื่อคุณต้องจัดการมันคนเดียว
