Hi everyone, ​I'm currently a second-semester master's student in a GSIS program in Seoul. ​When I first started my master's degree, I didn't pay much attention to the order of my English name because a friend told me it's normal for universities in Korea to switch them around. ​However, when I printed out my Certificate of Enrollment today, I noticed my full name is listed as [Given Name] [Surname]. Since I'm from a Chinese-speaking background, both my passport and ARC display my name as [Surname] [Given Name]. ​Do I need to get the university to change my name order so that it matches my passport and ARC? If so, how should I go about doing this? ​Thank you so much for your help!

အားလုံးကို မင်္ဂလာပါ၊ ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မက လက်ရှိ ဆိုးလ်မြို့ရှိ GSIS အစီအစဉ်မှာ မာစတာဘွဲ့ ဒုတိယ semester ကျောင်းသား/သူ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မာစတာဘွဲ့ စတင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့စဉ်က ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မရဲ့ အင်္ဂလိပ်နာမည် အစဉ်အလာကို သိပ်မစဉ်းစားခဲ့ပါဘူး၊ ဘာကြောင့်လဲဆိုတော့ ကိုရီးယားမှာရှိတဲ့ တက္ကသိုလ်တွေက နာမည်အစီအစဉ်ကို ပြောင်းထားတာဟာ ပုံမှန်ပဲလို့ မိတ်ဆွေတစ်ယောက်က ပြောခဲ့လို့ပါ။ ဒါပေမယ့် ဒီနေ့ Enrollment Certificate ကို ပရင့်ထုတ်ကြည့်လိုက်တဲ့အခါ ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မရဲ့ နာမည်အပြည့်အစုံကို [Given Name] [Surname] လို့ ဖော်ပြထားတာကို သတိထားမိပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မက တရုတ်ဘာသာစကားအသုံးပြုတဲ့ နောက်ခံမှလာတဲ့အတွက် ပတ်စပို့နဲ့ ARC နှစ်ခုလုံးမှာတော့ [Surname] [Given Name] လို့ ရေးထားပါတယ်။ ပတ်စပို့နဲ့ ARC နဲ့ ကိုက်ညီအောင် တက္ကသိုလ်ကို ကျွန်တော်/ကျွန်မရဲ့ နာမည်အစဉ်ကို ပြောင်းပေးဖို့ တောင်းဆိုရမလား။ အဲဒီလိုဆိုရင် ဘယ်လိုလုပ်သင့်ပါသလဲ? အကူအညီအတွက် အရမ်းကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်!
