My parents and younger sister visited Korea last week, so I brought them to my campus for half a day instead of only doing tourist spots. Just sharing in case anyone has family coming: at my school, the student office said visitors can usually enter most outdoor campus areas, and the library lobby was okay as long as we were quiet and respectful. The cafeteria was actually a nice stop too, because they could see my normal student life and not just the pretty parts of Seoul 🙂 It felt simple, but my family said seeing where I study made them understand my life here much better.

제 부모님과 여동생이 지난주에 한국에 와서, 관광지만 다니는 대신 반나절 동안 캠퍼스로 모셔다드렸어요. 혹시 가족이 오시는 분이 있을까 해서 공유하자면: 제 학교에서는 학생회관에서 방문객이 보통 대부분의 야외 캠퍼스 구역에 들어갈 수 있다고 했고, 도서관 로비도 조용하고 예의 바르게만 있으면 괜찮았어요. 식당도 사실 좋은 들르기 장소였는데, 그들은 서울의 예쁜 부분만이 아니라 제가 평소에 학생으로서 보내는 일상도 볼 수 있었거든요 🙂 단순한 일정이었지만, 가족은 제가 공부하는 곳을 보니 여기서의 제 삶을 훨씬 더 잘 이해하게 되었다고 했어요.
