#08 – Talking About Volunteering After finishing their volunteer work, they take a short break together. 👨 Him: We keep running into each other, don't we? 👩 You: Seriously! But wait… I didn't know you signed up for this too. 👨 Him: Yeah. I saw that you were joining, so I thought it might be interesting. 👩 You: Really? You're studying IT. Aren't you busy with all your assignments? 👨 Him: I am, but I can't spend my whole life staring at my computer. 👩 You: Haha, fair enough. So, why did you decide to volunteer? 👨 Him: I wanted to try something different… and I thought it'd be more fun if I knew someone here. 👩 You: Someone you knew? You mean me? 👨 Him: Well… you're the only person I knew was coming. 👩 You: Hmm… okay. I'll believe you for now. 👨 Him: What about you? Why did you sign up? 👩 You: I want to experience as much as I can while I'm still in college. 👩 You: I also want to meet new people, try new things, and make lots of good memories before I graduate. 👨 Him: I like that. I spend way too much time studying. Maybe I should do more things like this too. 👩 You: You should! College isn't just about studying. 👨 Him: Then… if you sign up for something like this again, let me know. 👩 You: Why? Are you going to follow me everywhere now? 👨 Him: Haha, no! I just need someone to tell me when the interesting activities are. 👩 You: Sure, sure. Let's go with that.

#08 – 자원봉사에 대해 이야기하기 자원봉사를 마친 후, 그들은 함께 잠깐 쉬어 간다. 👨 그: 우리 자꾸 마주치게 되네, 그렇지? 👩 당신: 그러게, 정말! 그런데 잠깐만… 너도 이것에 신청한 줄은 몰랐어. 👨 그: 응. 네가 참여한다는 걸 보고, 좀 흥미로울 것 같다고 생각했어. 👩 당신: 정말? 너 IT 전공하잖아. 과제가 많아서 바쁘지 않아? 👨 그: 바쁘긴 한데, 평생 컴퓨터만 들여다보며 살 수는 없잖아. 👩 당신: 하하, 맞는 말이네. 그런데 왜 자원봉사를 하기로 한 거야? 👨 그: 뭔가 다른 걸 해보고 싶었어… 그리고 여기 아는 사람이 있으면 더 재밌을 것 같았거든. 👩 당신: 아는 사람? 나 말하는 거야? 👨 그: 뭐… 여기 온다는 걸 알고 있던 사람은 네가 유일했으니까. 👩 당신: 흠… 알겠어. 일단은 그렇게 믿을게. 👨 그: 너는? 왜 신청한 거야? 👩 당신: 아직 대학생일 때 가능한 한 많은 걸 경험해 보고 싶거든. 👩 당신: 그리고 졸업하기 전에 새로운 사람들도 만나고, 새로운 것도 해보고, 좋은 추억도 많이 만들고 싶어. 👨 그: 그거 좋다. 나는 공부하는 데 너무 많은 시간을 쓰는 것 같아. 나도 이런 걸 더 많이 해봐야 할지도 모르겠네. 👩 당신: 그래야지! 대학 생활은 공부만 있는 게 아니잖아. 👨 그: 그럼… 네가 또 이런 거 신청하게 되면, 나한테 알려줘. 👩 당신: 왜? 이제 내가 가는 곳마다 따라다니려고? 👨 그: 하하, 아니야! 그냥 어떤 활동이 재밌는지 알려줄 사람이 필요해서. 👩 당신: 그래, 그래. 그렇게 하자.
