Hi everyone, ​I'm currently a second-semester master's student in a GSIS program in Seoul. ​When I first started my master's degree, I didn't pay much attention to the order of my English name because a friend told me it's normal for universities in Korea to switch them around. ​However, when I printed out my Certificate of Enrollment today, I noticed my full name is listed as [Given Name] [Surname]. Since I'm from a Chinese-speaking background, both my passport and ARC display my name as [Surname] [Given Name]. ​Do I need to get the university to change my name order so that it matches my passport and ARC? If so, how should I go about doing this? ​Thank you so much for your help!

みなさん、こんにちは。 私は現在、ソウルのGSISプログラムで修士課程2学期目の学生です。 修士課程を始めたばかりの頃は、英語名の順序についてあまり気にしていませんでした。韓国の大学では順番を入れ替えるのが普通だと友人に言われていたからです。 しかし、今日在学証明書を印刷したところ、私のフルネームが [名] [姓] の順で記載されていることに気づきました。私は中国語圏の出身なので、パスポートにもARCにも [姓] [名] の順で名前が記載されています。 パスポートとARCに合わせるために、大学に名前の順序を変更してもらう必要がありますか？ もし必要なら、どうすればよいのでしょうか？ ご助力いただき、ありがとうございます！
