My parents and younger sister visited Korea last week, so I brought them to my campus for half a day instead of only doing tourist spots. Just sharing in case anyone has family coming: at my school, the student office said visitors can usually enter most outdoor campus areas, and the library lobby was okay as long as we were quiet and respectful. The cafeteria was actually a nice stop too, because they could see my normal student life and not just the pretty parts of Seoul 🙂 It felt simple, but my family said seeing where I study made them understand my life here much better.

先週、両親と妹が韓国に来たので、観光地だけを回るのではなく、半日だけ大学のキャンパスへ連れて行きました。家族が来る予定の方の参考になればと思って共有します。私の学校では、学生課によると、訪問者は通常、屋外のキャンパスエリアのほとんどに入ることができ、図書館のロビーも静かに礼儀正しくしていれば大丈夫でした。食堂も実はよい立ち寄り先で、ソウルのきれいな部分だけでなく、普段の学生生活も見てもらえたからです🙂 ささやかなことでしたが、家族は私がどこで勉強しているのかを見ることで、ここでの私の生活をずっとよく理解できたと言っていました。
