I passed my first full year working in Korea last week, and I noticed my daily life has become very different from when I first arrived. Because of rotating shifts, I don’t really plan big weekends anymore; I just keep small routines like laundry after work, a quiet meal, and calling family when the time zone works 🙂. It sounds simple, but it actually helped me feel more settled at the company because I stopped expecting every week to look the same. Anyone else here started enjoying Korea in smaller pieces because of their work schedule?
