Today was my last day at my company, and I feel strangely proud of myself 🙂 Before leaving, some friends told me final salary and unused leave settlement can get confusing, but my company kept saying they would explain everything clearly on the normal pay schedule. I asked HR twice because I didn’t want to misunderstand anything, and today they gave me a simple breakdown and a written note of what will be checked after my last working day. It was not dramatic at all, just calm and respectful, and that made me feel like I finished this chapter properly.
