#08 – Talking About Volunteering After finishing their volunteer work, they take a short break together. 👨 Him: We keep running into each other, don't we? 👩 You: Seriously! But wait… I didn't know you signed up for this too. 👨 Him: Yeah. I saw that you were joining, so I thought it might be interesting. 👩 You: Really? You're studying IT. Aren't you busy with all your assignments? 👨 Him: I am, but I can't spend my whole life staring at my computer. 👩 You: Haha, fair enough. So, why did you decide to volunteer? 👨 Him: I wanted to try something different… and I thought it'd be more fun if I knew someone here. 👩 You: Someone you knew? You mean me? 👨 Him: Well… you're the only person I knew was coming. 👩 You: Hmm… okay. I'll believe you for now. 👨 Him: What about you? Why did you sign up? 👩 You: I want to experience as much as I can while I'm still in college. 👩 You: I also want to meet new people, try new things, and make lots of good memories before I graduate. 👨 Him: I like that. I spend way too much time studying. Maybe I should do more things like this too. 👩 You: You should! College isn't just about studying. 👨 Him: Then… if you sign up for something like this again, let me know. 👩 You: Why? Are you going to follow me everywhere now? 👨 Him: Haha, no! I just need someone to tell me when the interesting activities are. 👩 You: Sure, sure. Let's go with that.
